Description

Everything you need to know

African Black Soap has been used for centuries in West African countries as a natural remedy to cleanse the skin, made from locally harvested African plants such as cocoa pods. Shea Butter is the fat extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree, native to West Africa.
African Black Soap: leaves your skin fresh and clean without stripping its natural oils, super foamy, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and antifungal, 100% natural. Shea Butter: highly moisturizing, protects skin from environmental damage, softens skin (great for cracked heels, dry lips and cuticles), restores skin elasticity, helps prevent and heal stretch marks, has anti-inflammatory properties.
African Black Soap: scoop out a small amount with clean hands or a spatula, rub in your hands to create foam, wash and rinse straight away. Shea Butter: scoop out a small amount with clean hands or a spatula, rub in your hands before applying to your skin, rub until completely absorbed.
Can I use African black soap on my body and/or hair? Yes! It can be used on the face, body and hair. Is African black soap good for all skin types? African black soap is alkaline (pH 9-9.5). Its high pH helps skin health and restores the skin's natural acid balance.
Why does it have that smell? Pure, unrefined shea butter has a very characteristic odor from roasting the nuts during production. If you don't like the smell, you can melt it and add a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil. Can shea butter be used during pregnancy? Yes — it's highly recommended, especially to treat and prevent stretch marks. Is shea butter good for all skin types? Yes, it's especially recommended for dry and damaged skin, and is non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores. How long can 100g last me? Depending on daily use, 100g can last 3-6 months.
